Welcome to our Beekeeping Experience Day! This is an opportunity for you to learn about the fascinating world of bees and the role they play in our ecosystem. You'll get a behind-the-scenes look at what it takes to be a beekeeper, including hands-on experience with live bees.
During this experience, you'll learn about the biology of bees, the life cycle of the bees and what happens inside their beehive. You'll see a live beehive and learn about the different components of a colony, including the queen, workers, and drones. You'll also get to witness the intricate process of bee communication and how they work together to gather nectar and make honey.
We'll provide you with all the necessary gear, including a bee suit and gloves, so you can feel comfortable and safe while interacting with the bees. Our experienced beekeeper will guide you through the process and answer any questions you may have.
In addition to hands-on experience with live bees, you'll also learn about the importance of honeybees and their role in pollination. You'll discover how to make your own garden more bee-friendly and learn about the challenges facing bee populations today. There will also be a chance to taste our local honey!
By the end of the experience, you'll have a new appreciation for bees and the role they play in our ecosystem. We're confident that you'll leave with a deeper understanding of the importance of honeybees and a new skill set that you can put to use in your own garden. Discover Beekeeping and Candle making experience - Full Day £100
